Capegate Shopping Centre has announced that it is rewriting the Women's Day routine. "Sip & Social", is set to take place on Saturday, 9 August from 10:00 to 14:00, with a mix of art, storytelling and pairings.
Taking place a Cente Court, Capegate Shopping Centre, the morning is set to open with a talk from Sherlin Barends, KFM Radio Host and Motivational Speaker. She'll be navigating tough moments and celebrating small wins, says the shopping centre.
"Women's Day is a reminder that, as women, we carry more than titles or roles — we carry stories, scars and strength," says Zoë Enslin, Marketing Manager at Capegate Shopping Centre. "Through 'Sip & Social,' we wanted to offer a moment to slow down, laugh, reflect and connect with likeminded women."
Next, guests partake in a, experimentation-focused textured art session with Artt Palette, a woman-owned studio in Durbanville.
Following the art session is a bubbly and macaron pairing by CANTO Wines, a boutique Durbanville estate known for its crisp, characterful MCCs. Each bubbly is matched with a handcrafted macaron — from pistachio to red raspberry and salted caramel, adds the shopping centre.
Every guest will receive a Catrice beauty goodie bag, says the shopping centre.
Tickets can be purchased at R375 via webtickets and space is limited. "Sip & Social" promises to offer a fresh alternative to the usual Women's Day routine, adds the shopping centre.
Capegate Shopping Centre, located in the heart of Brackenfell, continues to build on its reputation as more than just a retail space. With a strong focus on community and lifestyle, the centre regularly hosts events that connect, uplift and entertain, concludes the shopping centre.
